Equestria seems to be like a fusion between UK and USA, Aquilea is France, Griffon Empire is the Holy Roman Empire maybe ? Wingbardy is Italy, Commonwealth of New Mareland is Australia; Stalliongrad is the Soviet Union but different xD Changelings are the Germans (Wermacht) and Hellquill the others Germans (SS or Nazis), Riverlands are like the Balkans, Broadfeld is Romania and that's all i can think of ^^

i think that the Gryphian host is Ukraine because first of all the flag is pretty similar, the capital of the Gryphian host is Kaiv which is very similar to Kiev, the leader of the Gryphian host Looks like a Cossack and ukraine is known for its cossack history and finally when the gryphian host turns non-alligned they turn into The New Hetmanate. In 1914 in Ukraine there was a man called Pavlo Skoropatsky and he wanted to become the first Hetman of Ukraine [Hetman is pretty similar to president but with minor differances.] so i conclude that the Gryphian host is in fact Ukraine. EDIT: I JUST REALISED THAT THERES EVEN YEVHEN KONOVALETS IN THE FREAKING GAME which is a ukrainian nationalist so yeah this prooves a 100 percent that the Gryphian host is ukraine

Griffonian empire is like the Holy Roman empire or the early British Empire. Aquellia is France. The Huaklands are like Hawaii. The River union reminds me of the confederacy. Yakistan is Mongolia.

In the actual show however, Equestria functions like the HRE
