Ideas and Suggestions
Got a good idea? Make sure it's unique and would fit within the Alien Swarm universe and perhaps it might become part of the Swarm's armies.

Already planned:
-Queen + Spit and Tentacle attack
-Summoner, Leaper and Carrier Drones
-Red Giants
-Swarm Director (This will be the hardest and will probably come the latest.)
-Shaman + Healing other Swarm
-A small amount of custom Swarm types, including the Breeder, Soldier, Tank and Scuttlebug.

I don't know if you already plan to do this or not, but it would be super cool if you made the boomer act like it does in the game. You know how it attempts to suicide bomb at you if it is at low health.

That's exactly what I'm working on right now. I'm making a custom inflate animation since normally the model doesn't inflate.

Director is planned. Right now I'm working on the Boomer and it's a massive pain in the ass.

Is the Boomer in the spawnmenu? If it isn't then there's something wrong with my addon updater.

maybe something like biomass spawning drones, boomers and rangers? that would be usefull

Biomass calling in the Swarm when killed is coming soon. Spawning in Drones directly would be a bit off but being able to bring Swarm to their position when threatened is considered.

Later on in development I'll give them the ability to feed on corpses and grow.

using vj corpse and use them for biomass to grow
