Can't stack underneath
I'm trying to build on very uneven ground (rocks). I built six foundations for a tower. Several of them are partially above the ground level. I can see the bottom edge of the foundations. I cannot build another foundation underneath so it looks like it is built up from the ground.

Does anybody have any suggestion on how to correct this?

Very late reply, but if you're on SP, then I'd suggest using console command Ghost and building the foundation that way. Otherwise you could use walls as well. Place a ceiling, a foundation on top of it and walls under

Yeah. I tried all of those things. The problem is that none of those structures will attach. The preview shows red.

Remove the foundation and use a ceiling panel, then hang walls under it.

You pretty much have to ghost this guy basically has ignored his mod since Feb. Its buggy and obviously not being worked on and been stated multiple times over since its release in 2019
