How to install the CE patch? (solved, i'm just an idiot)
I'm not sure how to install the Combat Extended patch for this mod. I've only ever used the Steam workshop for such things. I would appreciate it if someone were to tell me how to install the patch. (solved, i'm just an idiot)

Me either, the package on github is confusing and once I got to the zip file it became even more confusing. It's not really a patch in my opinion since we cant run a patcher exe or download on from the workshop here. Will this work without the ce patch?

According to this page, Vanilla Expanded Weapons are simply integrated into CE's base form.
