New Ideas!
So i have been trying to look around the net and think of what more to add to this mod? any thoughts guys? i know i need more uses for flour but i feel having cake etc will be boring and end the chain fast, we need more mills...:thinking:

maybe you could solve the bug with the power poles - you cannot build them without machine parts that can only be built with a factory that needs the power pole. As this is about new ideas, how about using the original power pole and limit it to a small size of megawatt, lets say 25 MW? Your power poles could be an extension then that are worth to be installed as soon as machine tools are available...

Hi Jottyfan, sorry for the long duration of the power poles, i have fixed them now by leaving the design but changing the crafting recipe to the same as the vanilla recipe, thank you for your message, i am back working on the mod and looking to add some new features and will consider your suggestion, i am looking at adding some different varieties of Power poles with different radius' and designs.

For poles to keep the complexity light you could make relay poles that connect only to other poles and normal poles.
For flour if it's possible to rework the base game recipes then you could change both wheat and maize so they both do flour and then use flour to make bread, baguette, cake and the rest, that will add complexity and make it more correct as you need flour to make bread.
Other automation possibilities there is a mod that allows you to mine for copper, iron and gold you could try to do something similar.
Maybe take a loot to rimworld for food recipes and maybe some automation.

i love the ideas, im unsure how i can make them different in design as right now I have wheat flour of course, to add in the corn (maize) would make cornflour, which is essentially the same thing but a different texture and slight different taste, but i feel it may be hard to make a small enough voxel design that stands out from the other flour bag. i will have a look and try a few things. Food and recipes is not an issue tho, i can easily adjust vanilla version to expand on food in anyway i want.

I was have an explore with the power poles, im sure if i remember correctly my initial plan was to make a similar style as you mention, (I could be wrong with the designs to what you describe) i would love to hear a more in depth version of what your asking and how you would like to see the "Relay Poles" work and i can hopefully get that added into the mod.

As for the automatic Copper, Iron etc i would love to make these but i also want to try and keep things around the mills category and i cant seem to find anything out there in the real world that is considered a "Mill" that can do as asked. i would happily make a different mod and call is Automation Machines or something and add in a huge variety of different automated factories etc? whats your thoughts?
