I don't think it's going to have a very good effect on map optimization, because one big city is lowering fps very much. I can do something like that, but it's going to make it worse.

What do you mean? Is the city as loot as it is at a military base?

if the scorpion base were to become radio-active i say that the loot there should be better to make it a bit more worth it to go
