Addition of Alaska and other American territories outside of mainland USA
I think having this will make the game much more fun and interesting and it can really offer a nice challenge if someone wants to annex every state as Alaska for example.

I was thinking the exact thing, but how alaska is supposed to reach the others? Maybe annexing some states of canada?

I was thinking that having these territories that aren't connected by land to mainland USA will allow for the naval side of the game to have a much bigger role.

Why not make it so that Alaska is more of like re colonization in a decision for pacific states become owner and have cores on that territory.

Yea that will make it more interesting. And why not do the same for the small islands owned by the USA in the pacific
