Tennessee Focus Tree
Maybe Tennessee and the other southern states could have a focus like in Kaiserreich where they can vote to reform the Confederacy or some kinda Southern Republic? Either that or give em a focus for the Volunteer State that lowers volunteer requirements.

You could make the State of Franklin a possible breakout state for some kind of civil war.

You could include focuses for an Alt History version of the TVA. Very important aspect of works during the Depression.

Also, if you include options for a reformed Confederacy, you could have East Tennessee break away from the Confederacy (this area was not as useful for farming, and always resisted the plantation system and was sympathetic to the Union during the Civil War) and form their own nation with Knoxville as a capital.
