If that helps, in addition to the race tokens going through the table, I also found that when stacked, they would sometimes have some air between the tokens. So if you have 5 tokens of 1 length-unit each, the stack could easily be 9 or 10 length-units high.
EDIT: Ok I messed around with this for a bit and found a quick hack. If you right click the stack, click custom and then click on import they magically work again. I believe the thickness of some of them are messed up or something. When you flip them over they actually hover above the the board rather than sinking in. Hope this helps.
I wonder if the new 12.4 update solves this given the release notes explicitly say: "Greatly improved the reliability of physics collisions especially for thin objects."
