Have you tried right-clicking the notification icon? or does it not disappear when you try to remove it? I have personally not experience this problem after running multiple tests. Also make sure you are playing on the latest version of Stellaris, as this may be a vanilla-based problem.
Currently the chance to find the digsite is 5% per completed survey of a molten world, but seeing as there are a bunch of those around I could decrease the chance, I just worry that people may not find in that case.
That's odd, but I don't think it's caused by Ziaskehorn. The game itself is responsible for calculating bonuses and how that affects difficulty, the mod just sets the difficulty for each stage at the digsite. Do your leaders not get skill bonuses for just the Ziaskehorn digsite or for every digsite? If so, maybe try reporting it to Paradox.
