First by numbers, because the A.I. will calculate it's no good to attack.
If the A.I. still decides to attack, you can repell the attack by destroying the support fleet.
Bomber are cheap and so easy to replace, but powerful when massing.
Have some fighters along them, if the A.I. starts massing bomber itself, but that's a bonus.
