I second this. The empire was not a pushover it may have had alot of weaknesses that they should not have suffered but it was not easy to beat. I felt so bad for it last play through because the defector faction took over 70% of their territory including coruscant and I sent in a fleet to wipe out all the orbital defenses of each conquered world and then left and they made 0 effort to retake them and my modular recon scans showed they had the manpower available in both space and invasion forces to do it. and no effort was made

But I suspect its not possible in certain ways given how all the AIs behave when they get fractured and divided like if theres a single dot somewhere else the rest of the picture wont show. This is a generalization of the ais behavior not a literal descrioption, Just incase drax the destoryer replys to this, Nothing for you to catch from over your head etc

Absolutely, didn't the Empire like have the strongest military in Star Wars history? Whenever I play as the Rebels they're dead before i get to them. The Empire is just nerfed to absurdity.
