How Rebel Alliance Tech Levels Work in Conquest Mode
Hello, I have a research center, there are 5 icons offered to me with the symbols of the rebellion and others. I don't understand how it works, what is it for? So I don't know how to get bigger ships like Mon Calamari cruisers, thanks in advance.

You must capture the Calamari Sector on the far east of the map to access the MC ship types. After doing so, they are permanently yours, even if you lose the sector later.

In addition, the icons do ABSOLUTELY NOTHING. They are there to prevent crashes from occurring as a result of increasing tech lvls and such. You can find info on this on the official discord and in-game in the game hints.

You dont need the Calamari Sector to get MC ships, just the heroes and Ackbar's upgrade to Home One.

You just buy the "Escalate the War" upgrade from the Research Station.

If you by mistake set the Max Tech Level slider to 1 before launching the GC like quite a few others have done then you're locked to only Tech Level 1 and need to restart without doing that.
