Great mod but one complaint
Love this mod but damn the minor factions are ridiculously strong. I'm playing as the rebellion, both the Empire and the Criminal Underworld got demolished by the Imperial Defectors and Hutt Empire respectively. They both only have like 4 systems now, and the galaxy is split in thirds between the defectors, Hutts, and CSA. I love the minor factions don't get me wrong but, I feel like they should've just been regional roadblocks rather than real galactic contenders. Maybe even have a gamemode identical to the base one where the minors aren't as powerful, with the option to run grand webway. Besides that, love the mod though, having a blast with the rebellion.

I do think having them be just as tough as the three main factions is sorta weird, but overall it makes the gameplay interesting and can draw the attention of the major factions away from you. Fighting factions with different ships and units is also a lot more fun instead of the same two over and over again. I agree that their strength needs to be toned down a little though.

Yea, I wholeheartedly agree. It's really fun fighting them, especially when they make you change up your strategy, but yea I think their outward strength especially should be toned down. In my head the best way to do the minor factions is have them less expansionistic than the main factions but really strong in their core regions. I know that's generally the premise but in reality they do just kinda balloon to the point where they become another main faction, like in my playthrough there was only really two minor factions around and both of them on their own controlled more systems than almost double of all 3 major factions combined. It was ridiculous.

well it's a great mod but I can't download it anymore. I click on subscribe start the game to see if the dowload starts. but nothing happens. Help I really don't know what to do

Check your hard drive and your downloads progress, i had that problem and its because i didnt have enough storage on my computer

This has always been my experience, too. I want to fight the rebels as the empire but I always end up watching them get wiped out and fighting minor factions.

I would love to see the campaign split into different types where minor factions either can or can't expand.

anyone know if you can play as a minor faction? I swear in the past I had a game where I did but maybe that was thrawns revenge. When I go to select the factions theres only rebels imperials and criminals, is there another selection I'm missing?

The “Clone Wars Holdout Factions” submod should have exactly what you’re looking for. It has a mode where the Empire starts very strong and other factions weak. You can also play as the Republic Holdouts or CIS remnant.
