Bug Reports
If you have any issues please describe them here.

Note that I will likely need a log file to fix any serious issues, this is located at:

%appdata%\SpaceEngineers\SpaceEngineers.log

If you fail to attach a log file to a bug report I might not be able to help, so please attach a log file. Like seriously just do it. Especially if your crashing.

Furthermore, if your issue is related to turrets not shooting at things, I'll probably need a world file too, this is located at:

%appdata%\SpaceEngineers\Saves\[YOUR STEAM ID]\[World Name]

Simply compress to .zip and upload it somewhere, then leave a link here.

Note that your log file may contain personal information (the name of the user on the computer), feel free to remove this if you want.

the only bug report I got is, I am too stupid to use it



How do you fix this?

@DragonRyder75 Read the description over and over, and see if that helps, then give up because it's stupidly complicated and just use the default settings I've already setup XD

Smart Turrets 2 does not load in my survival world. I created a new world and the smart turrets 2 did not load so i reloaded the world and the mod worked but then I logged out of the world and reloaded it again and the mod stopped working.

@SovietPika I'm afraid that log doesn’t tell me anything useful (usually I only need logs for crashes), if you could send me the world file that would make it a bit easier to look into the problem.

i dont know why, but the mod just wont work at all. i can load it into the world, and i can switch to smart targeting, however doing so makes the turret not shoot at anything. disabling and re-enabling normal targeting parameters works like normal on the other hand

@[HUN]Slushtrap I'm going to need more to work with, notably what were your turret's settings. They only target certain blocks by default and only if they can see them, so with the default settings they may appear to be not working.

ok so, i have placed an enemy atmo ship that has turrets and fixed weapons, and the turrets settings are to fire on a small grid ship which it is

i have found the problem: certain turrets (modded ones) dont work with the mod. Turrets that use gatling / missile all work but turrets like designators, or lasers that produce their own ammo dont

@[HUN]Slushtrap Strange, I tested on multiple kinds of modded turrets and they worked, but I didn’t test laser or other energy-based weapons. I'll need to investigate that.

Hey, so mod loads ok, or seems to and, for missile turrets, I get the Smart Targeting option but no options after the Profile box.

For Gatlings, nothing, doesn't seem to recognize them.

How do get you a log file or how else can I help debug the issue ?

@TMcG Very rarely the controls may disappear at random from certain turrets, should be fixed by a reload. If the issue is persistent send me the world file and I'll have a look.

@Zkillerproxy Yes, thats the behavior I'm seeing though it's not consistent, Gatlings sometimes get the "On" switch but nothing else, Missiles almost always get the "On" switch but neither gets all the subsequent options.

How do I send you the world file ?
