if you mean npc companion nope that is not companions, they re expensive troops, they are cavalry.

also i ve seen some text about recruiting from the order

You need to own a fief and once it becomes prosperous it asks you if you want to recruit nobles into your army as well as recruiting antioch troops from your fief.
