Cthulhu?
I find it looking like Cthulhu a bit.

EDIT: I didnt realize he mentioned it in the description until I posted this :)

Cthulhu was never fully described in the books so he can be percieved how ever you wish him to be, its just a general association with the tentacly face and the wings

as it says in the description popular depictions of cthulhu was one of the inspirations behind this thing. However as far as I know Zimmimaru is right, cthulhu was never described by lovecraft
