[VJ] Too Many Antlions

Planned Content
The Antlion King. Oh yes, he's coming on the road trip too with us, and he's gonna be fully animated, coded and awesome. Problem is that he's quite fat and might take some time to make.

The Antlion Praetors. Giant, worm-like creatures that are the final stage before moulting into a King, these almost larval Antlions fiercely protect the current King in his chamber, able to create shockwaves and will tunnel under the surface, breaking out below the enemy. They are about the size of a Strider.

Antlion Smartbugs. Mobile anti-vehicle infantry that fire homing spines. Excellent when supported by melee troops and for taking out important/heavy enemies. Not good against individual enemies.

Antlion Siegepede. Also known as a Siege Caterpillar, Siegepedes are large grub-like Antlions that use long range projectiles as artillery, attacking from afar.

Your ideas. A good idea to me and it's coming with us too.

Unique models + animations. This one shouldn't take too long to do, maybe in context of new animations. Models.. Might take time.

What's about Rusher-type Antlion? Hm, like a antlion - but with a little bit more HP, slower - but able to rush - gaining a speed even more faster than normal antlion running.

Or something like a Beast-type Antlion, Antlion-guard bigger in 2 times?

Rushing would be something hard to code since you can't speed model animations. A larger Guard is something considered, but for now the only guard is the Bombardier.

Well, just do whatever you think the king of antlions would look like, perhaps something big and menacing, etc.

It's gonna sorta be like the Gene worm, able to spray a toxic gas from a range. They'll also summon 'Praetorians', which are pretty much giant worm things with the head of a King, using a destructive soundwave at distances and smashing into enemies.

Alright. The next update coming will have the Antlion Praetorians. These giant worms are larval Kings and are able to create shockwaves and scream at supersonic volumes.

Maybe antlion grub it can grow in antlion or if "feeded enough" will grow in more special antlions ? And antlion with can make coocoons for grubs or build structures?

what about some kind of nesting system for the antlions, like infesting an area, making cocoons, and multiplying

As of now in progress, the current hive system is:
-Grubs being hatched from eggs
-Grubs eating bodies and morphing into cocoons
-Nursers carrying bodies to grubs
-Nursers turning into Birthers
