Are you talking about a magenta/black checkerboard? That's the placeholder texture the game uses when it can't find the texture that's supposed to be there. Sanic definitely isn't supposed to look like that. Is this happening in single-player, or on a server with Sanic installed on it?

I pushed an update last night that should have fixed this issue.

I suppose that's what I get for naming the texture "sanic." Which map conflicts?

Is there any way to fix this issue I seem to be having the same problem. looks nothing like the what i saw on youtube. has the whole green background with the step it up phrase.
