'This mods isn't working, what do I do?'

Most problem are either caused due to use of outdated or broken script mods, corrupted steam workshop downloads or launcher issues.

1: To avoid false positive reports please disable all other mods and see if the issue still occurs.
If this mod doesn't turn out to be the culprit then enable your mods one at a time to determine which one caused the problem. Make sure to read the mod description and enable the mod to enable all "required items" before reporting bugs.

2: Unfurtunately the steam workshop tends to deliver corrupted mods from time to time.
If that's the case then simply re-subbing to the mod is enough to fix the problem.


3: My income is ruined!
The predicted income only gets updated once you click on the treasury button."
Would be my standard answer to this question. Unfortunately CA introduced a supply lines bug with the latest patch/dlc which can cause wrong income calculation. The wrong income calculation should be fixed the next turn.

4: CA's Launcher is not the most reliable piece of software.
If a mod isn't loaded or doesn't work like it's supposed to then the following might help:
  • If your Launcher is not loading, please open the following location, “Drive”:\Users\”USER”\AppData\Roaming\The Creative Assembly\
    and delete the “Launcher” folder if it is present (The official CA Thread: New Total War Launcher - feedback thread[forums.totalwar.com]).
  • Or you can use a third-party launcher: Kaetrin's Total War Mod Manager[github.com] (I highly recommend doing that!)

Whether you use the CA's new launcher or KMM: NEVER CHANGE THE LOAD ORDER!

Modder deliberately name mod packs in a way to ensure the correct load order.

'What are the future plans for the mod?'
  • The Mod Configuator options: enable/disable the reappearance of specific lords, consequences upon taking on refuge characters(e.g. cost, public order) ...
  • Expanding the concept to be religion based i.e. Empire could hire any untainted lord, Vampire Count hire Vampire Coast, Followers of Nagash etc. In order to make it even more interesting, the lord would function as horde so they could hire their unit faction. This would be done as a optional submod.

how do i recruit them? I've accepted migration but cannot see them in my lords or hero list.

will there be a patch to recruit defeated lords of other factions ? i want to play dark elves and recruits vampires counts

Do I have to be friends with LL to get them if there is no alternative nation.

You do not have to be friends, no. You have to be the same culture however.

I hope that submod that could get made "one day" lets you recruit any defeated LLord, I want my Von Carsteins to get Sigwald with his regeneration armor, makes him fit as a vampire addition when defeated :)

Hi I've used this mod during my current campaign but the Cult of pleasuure died and nothing came up.

I just confederated Another faction so am on Confed cool-down, could this be effecting the mod?

Are you gonna make a version foe TWW3? It just came out the WoC can't confederate each other.
