To make cash or prestigepoints u need to do village/military tasks, capture camps, and capture factories. But imho its all about the factories, the cash u get when u do the other tasks its just a joke compared to what u make once u have 2 factories for example, so i'd focus on that, the best place to start looking is west of Altis, i'd sugest planning an operation starting on Kavala city for example (or any city on west coast), ull find a pier, then up north a power plant, and 2 factories.

I sugested this zone cause imho its easy to defend, there are a lot of high altitude points, and u have all the main important buildings to acquire prestige points in a radius of 2, maybe 3 km. And there are plenty of camps to capture.

To access better equipment/manpower its always good to create ur main base near the 2 main strategic military points of the mission (airports and camps), on the airports u can buy the maintenance trucks, and obviously all the airpower u need. But the good stuff is in the camps, u can choose any weaponry and rearm anything u want for free, including ur IA mates, so id suggest to use the VAS if ur outgunned, if u were referring to something more drastic then id suggest to buy a Slammer or a Marshall. If u need more manpower u can buy all the IA's u want.

I suggest creating a base near these 2 points, imho the best place its always near an airport, where's one theres a camp near, the AAF airfield is a good one 4example, ull find a camp near. I also suggest this cause i don't use teleport, sometimes causes the known "Im outta here, sir" IA issue, so no need for a 6km trip to take 2 mags

If ure talking in a "im poor dammit!" context (this happens usually in the start) then id suggest to save ur prestige points only for some ammo drops from time to time, lay low and start by doing some noise over here and there, u know, killing some baddies near villages and stuff, then id suggest to steal an enemy military veh, i've always ended up dissabling 1 or 2 enemy tanks/apcs and repairing them for me and my crew, this happens usually, and of course u can use the reinforcements IA, specially the ones on commanding mode ;)
Once u have an armed/armored vehicle and some ia's then id recommend creating ur base and start the factories ops.
