The situations is as follows and two questions/issues came up:
Volkare is first player, I am second in turn order.
Volkare attacks me from an adjacent space because of a red card. I fully attend battle (so my round token is flipped down, while his is still up) and killed at least two of his army (but not all). I am standing on a magical glade so since I fully attended battle I heal one wound afterwards.
1. Does Volkare now had his next turn or is it me (because he skips a turn)? In the manual I read that when you defeat twice as many monsters as number of players (so more then two which I did) he is slowed down. But it also explains that you can't flip his round token if it is already face down. So is the slowing down not happening because he initiated his attack in his turn? Or should I have a turn at the end of the battle?
In this particular game I didn't get a go before Volkare did. I was basically skipped (he went again after battle even though I slowed him down)
2. The die I used from the source didn't get rerolled after battle.
Next thing that happened is he attacked me by moving into my space. I chose to retreat.
3. I did get a gold mana which assumed somewhere my turn started but I never got the chance to have my turn. It forced me to process Volkare's Turn right after our first battle.
Is there an easy way to share my save file for you to check if things are being handled correctly (or maybe explaining me what I misunderstand in this case)?
Again, I am new to the round order thing with battles so it is probably me not getting something.
1) you flip your turn order token to fully attend.
2) you defeat enough Voltaire enemies to flip his turn order token when you press end turn and the cleanup happens.
3) now when you accept rewards and the turn gets incremented to Voltaire who just flips his token up, and the turn incremented again.
4) now it's your turn to flip the token up, and move the turn back to Voltaire.
So effectively in Solo it has no effect if he attacks you :-(
If you don't defeat enough of his army he'll get two turns in a row though....
The dice being left does sound like an error due to all the skipping turns happening. I'll need to look at that.
point 3 also sounds like a bug as well. If you can find your save file, you can upload it here for me to look at:-

Here is the link to his explanation: https://boardgamegeek.com/thread/2862213/questions-about-round-tokens-resolving-and-retreat
I will also link to this thread on BGG so you experts can find out the right answer ;P
I couldn't log into your drive because it needed an account so I uploaded the save file here. It is after a battle right before things get messy: https://drive.google.com/drive/folders/13ZZGsxxH-FcJPaVq3zjGv2MtAr1HRb_O?usp=sharing
I think the whole reason for the OP was because I got confused in a previous game, probably because I also encountered the error then.

Edit - extra remark 1: Another issue happens after defeating Volkare when fully attending combat. You get one extra turn but that only consists of flipping your round marker up.
In the current scripting it incorrectly gives you another turn even if you fully attended combat.
The actual extra turn should only happen if you defeated Volkare if you partially attended combat or attacked him yourself.
Edit - extra remark 2: In this same game it also had an issue with recognizing I defeated Volkare. Therefor the game never declared game end. Not sure if this issue is related. Let me know if you want to create a separate bug threat.
I got most of these problems sorted in the latest patch, I meant to update your save game and share it back to you, but was falling asleep at the keyboard. Will take care of it tonight.
I tried to follow what you were doing for your turn, but there’s not enough info to know how your board looked before you started your turn. Makes me think some sort of player board reset might be nice….
