I have a sort-of-related question. Not a bug per se, just asking for clarification.

This mod's description claims that VFE patches it to be compatible with Royalty. However, royal furniture from this mod doesn't seem to fulfil royal requirements. So, have you guys really patched More Furniture [1.1 + 1.2], or is this just, umm, misunderstanding?

Find the tag for the building you want and do what it says on the post and it should work

I get it, but it gives instructions to modify the core game, not a mod.
But more importantly, it is only really applicable to beds. My problem is with end tables. If I just add this custom end table to the list, then the game will require either a royal bed OR a royal end table, and this doesn't make sense. And the end table requirement is not a list, it's just
<li Class="RoomRequirement_Thing"> <thingDef>EndTable</thingDef> </li>
So it doesn't help all that much...

There are many iterations of RoomRequirement_Thing, each for every noble title and type of requirement, you can add custom endtables if you put it in the right place
I guess I can, but how?

The tag for any building are in the mod folder, steam save it separated from the original game, search for the mod, search the defs file that have the building you want, find the tag of the building the do the steps of the first post
Sorry, I am probably daft, but to this is like exactly what I've already explained before: this requires editing Royalty itself, not the mod. And that's just a really inelegant solution. Isn't there a proper way to do this?

EDIT:
Issue solved, OPato made a working patch:
