regarding the OP's comment about knock-out... guess that makes some sense. But to me, it seems like the best way would be to have them as passive tames similar to the apes but maybe with say cooked meat instead. Or both passive and knock-out if possible. Actually, from the perspective of having armor / weapons, if you ignore the 3d models then this idea could be said to share some common elements with the mod 'Damn Dirty Apes' except for the "village AI"
and i'm not opposed to slave traders in game at all; was just throwing out random thoughts on taming stuff... knockout is great for roleplaying slave/pow relationship; passive is better IMO for RP'ing contractor/friend/subordinate relationship. but both have their place.
Maybe it is possible to allow NPCs to harvest resources if we manually place storage points nearby.
I also saw that they could deposit resources in chests, fuel campfires, cultivate crops, hunt for meat, and various other activities.
But the mod I'm talking about is really limited because the crop yields are really very low. His name is "Human NPC"
Maybe it's possible to create a caste of NPCs specializing in resource harvesting?
