What do you use the mod for?
I hope this post is allowed, but this is potentially my favourite Rimworld mod of all time, and I know I'm only scratching the surface with what I can do with it. I thought it would be nice to be able to share some of the things people use it for so we can all get more use out of it.

For me, one of the big things I use it for is when I have dead animals on the map that are forbidden (killed by other animals) so I can unforbid them and butcher them myself.

You use it to find colonists without pants. Obviously.
Until you misspell and find all colonists without plants instead. How embaracing.

Nope, just kidding.

Anyway, the reason I'm posting is cus the thing you use this mod for has already been autmated elsewhere.

I use this mod for recruitment: i.e. find someone with specific trait or trait combination among the enemies.

things deteriorating on the ground, not in a stockpile, not under a roof, allowed, not rotting. Should cover anything that is/should be in the haul queue but hasn't been yet.

Animals [of type] which are in my faction, which are [gender] and not sterilized

quick locate all steam geysers. i don't care, it's still quicker than your dad's method.

alert me, quietly, when at least 5 Ambrosia plants are at 100% growth (ready for harvest) [and] [not] within a distance of 10 tiles is another Ambrosia Plant at 100% growth.

I get an alert when a wild Ambrosia patch is at 100%, and arrows pointing to where they are. I can then turn on the harvest for that zone and do it all at once.

I use this to alert me when a door leading outside my perimeter wall is blocked open or held open without me noticing. Or alerting me whenever there's an enemy inside my safe zone. Super helpful.

• Hostile pawns with bionics installed are feeling somewhat generous. Bring a shock lance and a med kit.
• Hostile pawn carrying a doomsday launcher [and] !impaired or wounded. [or] is high on go-juice & not downed.
• Hostile pawn carrying sniper-type weapon with a shooting skill > 10
• medical items (except herbal) detected laying outside on the ground and are degrading, and are not at max health.and are not in a stockpile.

"Breach Doors": "Door Status: Hold open, exc", "Faction: player, exc", "By name: door, inc" – used to bulk-select doors so I can "claim, hold open" them on event maps, making it much easier to move around.

How do you sort for hostile pawns with bionics? I have a mod to remove bionics from corpses but have a hard time finding corpses with bionics xD

here's a good start. You would want to include corpses, i guess, which would be dead, condition fresh.

but how do you not kill them?

Free meat:
* Downed animals on the map (predators hunting)
* Animal corpses not under a roof (left-overs from predators)
* Pets hunting

Enemies with potentially interesting traits

Ice Sheet specific alerts:
* Pawn/Guest/Prisoner/Slave with less than 10% food-bar remaining (to maximise food supply I was not letting them eat until dropping to 10% so the full 90% from a meal is used).
* Animals not belonging to a faction entered the map (so we don't miss potential food to hunt).
To find objects, duh


In my scenario, i use LWMs Deep storage which makes every item clumped. This mod is a lifesaver

Or finding the masterwork assault rifle because my shooter equipped Assault Rifle (poor 47%) after his wounds healed already
