Unfortunately I do not think you can get the staff back as its an uncraftable item (Others being Ne Zha's Spear and Sash, 3 Eyes' Spear). If you don't want to trash the world and restart, I would recommend spawning it back in with another mod such as Too Many Items. You can turn the mod off once you finish spawning it back in, but good luck!
