Custom Ideas For Spawning On Carrier
Since respawning module doesn't notice that the aircraft carrier is a solid object has anyone figured out a way of setting up respawning on the Nimitz?

Yes, that had been solved in the past, but I'm not sure how. Maybe check the BI forums for some advice on this subject.

i figured out a way, on the elevators, it allows you to spawn on them for some reason. so just dont use one of the elevators and you have a place you can spawn on. tho rarely it will spawn you far away just respawn and it should just spawn you back on the elevator.

Another way i did it was to create a platform in the sea out of VR Objects, and made a teleporter from there to an invisible cube above the deck

Suggestion: Zodiacs/CRRCs to head to shore in without taking a chopper.

Well you can also add a invisible helipad or easier concrete block (the square one) under your spawn position. General good practise with carrier spawning is to not place it outside the map edge (so you want a map with plenty of water in its borders) arma's respawning system gets wonkey when you place it outside of it. This should fix your respawning issues.

You can even just use this in you description.ext and just have to add an Apex respawn module.

respawn = 3;
respawnTemplates[] = { "MenuPosition", "Spectator" };
respawnButton = 1;
respawnDelay = 30;
respawnOnStart = -1;
