before you start screaming "BOO GO GET IT LEGIT" i just didnt want to waste a whole week with my pc being on (and then getting a caseoh sized electricity bill)
its pretty basic and well who could expect it you actually have to add in your steam id to a specific file called storedatafuppr.lua
ok its time to quit being a nerd and explain it

alright quick edit from the future, for dumbass reasons google drive and docs get flagged as "unsecure" if you try to open them using the steam browser... so just use your real browser instead
the directory of the file is [The addon file itself] --> lua --> autorun and the file should be there, open it with a notepad and then go find your steam id (i used this website https://www.steamidfinder.com/) and then change any of the steam ID's to yours and put the folder of your new edited addon to your actual gmod addon folder
(if you dont want to download the addon file then why are you even here)
after allat is done 3 last steps remain
1. open gmod
2. start up a new game
3. get to stage 2 and press R
you've got shadowtrap! ig you saved at the very least 20 hours of your life
also side note you can delete the folder from your addons folder after you've got shadowtrap

(devs cant fix this unless they just update the addon and make the code super confusing which i will still somehow find a way to edit again)
