Well, yeah, the Finishing Time grows more and more significantly as you add more Horizontal Pistons. That's because the Speed of the rotation will be pretty slow when all the Horizontal Pistons are fully extended, and that impacts the Finishing Time a lot.

Don't worry tho, the flow of ore/ice is pretty consistent, so 6h means that you get 6 hours of nearly constant ore/ice flow, which is pretty nice! :D

Thanks you for script.. Make life alot simpler to mining out underground base.

Side note need small atmospheric thruster

LOL, not a bad idea!
This way the structure acts more stable if you want to use it Horizontally, NICE! :D

Yup, and rotor has problem moving drill on Earth when face that way. Place the thruster on block after rotor. So far having four of them going now.. Need more space for underground base. https://psteamcommunity.yuanyoumao.com/sharedfiles/filedetails/?id=1899816084

Just a "small" mining outpost on the way to 60 meter mark. Gold :-) ! ! - Including a small refinery setup and heavy load transport vehicle waiting for departure. (Engineer rides along on the drill head) :steamhappy:

All the builds are amazing even this latest one. I did not even think about the option of adding things to make it move.. lol i just make the hole bigger.. actually used the one i built to make a silo of sorts:)
