I also encountered a bunch of red errors regarding dryads from this mod. Have used this mod alot and it works flawlessly, until I started v1.3. I think this is the same error I got. (didn't keep the log Will post one When I get around to reproducing the error). I hope there will be a fix soon, I absolutely love all your mods.

same here, devlog throws an absolute fit when loading this mod and i can no longer access any dev tools with dryads in them (i.e. spawn pawn, try place direct thing, etc), is this fixed simply by changing load order?

I think I figured out how to fix this to work with Alpha Animals. You need to change all instances of the phrase "DryadBase" to something else, I made it "WHDryadBase".
There's 10 total instances in the xml files themselves, and 2 text files with "DryadBase" in the text file name that need to be renamed for a total of 12 replacements.

I didn't do a thorough test to see if everything works 100%, but a quick attempt at a pawn spawn, gave an actual dryad pawn from both Alpha Animals and this mod properly, as opposed to angry red errors. I don't know how to make patches for mods, so if I were to release it, it would be the whole mod and I dunno if the mod author would be mad :/

do you think the taste of vanilla textures would still work on the patched mod? or would there need to be another patch for that mod's interaction with this one

I tryed => No problem for the new textures

Shame about the errors as I liked running this mod but it seems to break things with Ideology up as well.

Well as Big Squeep pointed out, the mod has problems with the Dryads added by Ideology due to 2 dryads being around.

But I saw a couple weird emotion errors or breakages with some memes and rules. Like I was able to get Dryads to eat plants with one but they'd not get filled so they were starving. Small things like that.

Have to check again as right now trying to fix the mod with Big Squeep's method but that seems to break other things at times. Like enemy faction names or at times not being able to spawn said Dryads.
