Sorry, I'm just now coming back to Kenshi and remembering this. I mostly play with the 2023 version of this modpack https://psteamcommunity.yuanyoumao.com/workshop/filedetails/?id=2822248814 and, as time passed, the animation issue sorted itself out. I assume that it was a mod load order issue.

The only mod interaction 'issue' that I still notice is with some of the nudity mods in that same pack. For a time, nudity worked on some of the child sub-races but not on others. After many new versions of that mod pack that have tweaked the exact order of things and replaced various mods, it has stabilized to not working for any of them. Whether this is also a mod load order issue or an undocumented attempt on a mod author's part to retain some decency in the otherwise family-friendly theft, slavery, and post-apocalyptic genocide simulator that is Kenshi, I do not know.

I fixed that issue at some point when someone pointed it out and I had and have been spending time on modding rather than playing so a lot of stuff flew past my radars. But good to hear things are working better now.
