Okay, confirmed the fix for this - cause I had the same thing - just turn both downward pistons to 0.1 or 0.08/0.09, the reason it collapses on a 1x world is because the shaft moves too far down before the welder completes.

Default:
Piston 1 - 0.2
Piston 2 - 0.2
Total - 0.4
Custom:
P1/P2 - 0.1
Total - 0.2

Make sure to set your timer 1 + timer 3 to 10 seconds, Timer 2 + Timer 4 to 90 seconds.
Set Timer 1 to turn Projector On, then set timer 3 to turn Projector Off
