And yes, the weapon gains one special attribute when it levels up after you have killed sufficient enemies. As shown in the pic , my weapon is currently level 3

max is lvl 4, you'll most likely have to reforge it to get it to lvl 4. can't remember the exact name but it's some guy with "gold" or golden" in it's name from liangshang. there's 2 of them, one being for weapons and the other for armour

I have find this one Lord Hou Jian to reforge armor about the weapons i don't know. I have drop a lot of weapons but never find the Lord that can reforge the weapons.

In a battle with Dajin i almost lost every time my army they are very hard to battle ! lol

In a siege battle it's easier to get a special weapon or amor but ofc you lost every time most of your army.

@PapyX8 The Dajin are pretty strong, its true. They use one handed and two handed sabres that are fast to swing and does 35-ish damage so that makes them very versatile , not to mention that they have powerful cavalry as well. Archers are your best bet against them since some of the infantry only use shields.

So , from what i can surmise from @suprpiwi and your post is that a man ( with the word "Golden" in his name or title) from the Liangshan faction who reforges weapons , and a Lord Hou Jian who reforges armor. Hm , i shall look for them when I play. Thanks for the info.

So I found this unholy monstrosity[i.imgur.com], but it topped off at level 2, which I'm super disappointed about.

Is there any way boost the max? I was looking forward to turning this thing into an godly artifact.

@Pill Joy what a nice gift. I think you can upgrade it with the the Lord having Golden in his name.

Tang Long is the Lianshang Lord that can upgrade weapons.

Yeah, Tang Long [Gold Coin Spotted Leopard] has a special skill to reforge weapons. Reforging special stuff requires "Refined Iron" or something though.

Hou Jian [Long Armed Ape] does armor.

Still looking through the character list, there are some crazy abilities. Anything from turning prisoners into food, extra rewards from quests, beef not rotting, to battle skills like gaining +1 all stats on a kill.

@Pill Joy my unique sword is maxed out ,but you say that it could be further upgraded with a Refined Iron? Will try to find some.

Nonetheless that glaive of yours does a very high dmg and i think that it is apt that it maxed out at lvl 2 as a balance

Further testing:

You can upgrade leveling weapons in order to increase their level max (up to lvl 4.) To do that, you have to level up the weapon fully, take it to Tang Long, and pay 1-3 "refined stones" depending on the level.

You can get refined stones from practically any battle; it seems to be completely random, but it feels like bigger battles have a better chance.

Not all weapons can be level 4 some stuff have a max level 2 or 3 ....

a char from the liangshan faction ( gold coin something) can level up you weapons up to lvl 4, so just max the weapon, go to him, and just pay him

hmmm ... I must be really unlucky then, I've managed to defeat a dozen heroes so far (some even twice) but I haven't got anything yet. They always have managed to escape. Do I have to capture them in order to get a unique item?

@redwitch no just win a battle but hardest battles have more % to get one.

No need to win against a party with a Lord or a NPC named.
