Game Frequently Crashes: # Of companions might be the cause
I am pretty far into this mod and have over 10 legendary weapons on my companions spread out. The game ran perfectly at the start but... It might be crashing because of how many companions I have. I have about 15 companions and sometimes when it auto-saves it crashes. This really sucks because I love the mod and have been addicted to it for a while, but the frequency of crashes is excessive, and has been discouraging me to play the mod. I have done tests with my companions sending them off on their missions, and whenever most of them leave my party, it doesn't crash at all. Please look into this and i'll look into trying to thin my party of my valuable companions.
Specs: Geforce 1070, 16gb Ram, Intel i7 9700k, Over 2tb hard drives.
My favourite total conversion by far!

I like to have a lot of companions because the bonus they grant while allocating them in your logistics menu.

Ive played few hundred hrs this mod and love it. done several play throughs till end game then end up restarting cuz find that to be the most enjoyable. in all my games Ive always had max companions (27) and never had issues with crashes. dont get me wrong, the game does crash on occasion but nothing game breaking.

Thanks man, it has stopped being weird, but now I have another problem, the audio is completely screwed. I prob got in at least 50 hours into the mod but I dont even care cus i'm fine with starting again!

Wondering as well. My first two playthroughs were fine with any number of companions but now I'm getting a lot of crashes.
