Interesting Stat Idea
I was thinking that it has a little dial on it pointing to the nearest sentry, and then maybe on taunt allows you to intersept wranglers, but as a negative it makes a loud noise when zapping, and has a longer zap time.

how about instead of sapping a sentry it disables a sentry for as long as you have it transmitting. like standing a bit away from it then turning it off so team mates can run past or blow it up.

It'd be balanced if it broke disguise that way the engie and other members of the opposite team can see and kill you.

Thats not OP, Its does 0 damage to the sentry...a sapped sentry is disabled and has damage done to it plus the spy has to be within a certain range of it so they can disable it and I agree with trixie's suggestions

What about...
To sap a sentry,you have to look at it with the sapper. Uncloacked,but disguised;
When you point your sapper,it makes a static noise and it decreases your moving speed.

dial points to nearest sentry, on tuant you will activate it,the sentry will be disabled for 30 seconds.teamworks will be crucial to sucseed in getting past it and/or destorying it,penalty:spy cants disgiuse for 10 seconds after transmitting and moves 20% slower

just what i think it should be.

working with [oWn]Double Spa/\de's idea being it based of an old television it should have a downfall that affects all electrical devices, a.k.a sappers and disguise kit, and can't be used for at most 20 secs.

Upon equip and placement, it could make a loud noise, maybe loud static. I also agree with [oWn]Double Sp/\de and biggzboy.

and you can't move while in use.

You should be able to move. but the break disguise would be good. and you cant cloak with it either. Promotes good positional stealth.:crate:

They say television rots the brain (100% FALSE). However! it is known that bad signals can interfer with other machines in the surrounding area,

STATS

PROS:
Sapper effects all enemy engineer buildings in the area within 15 square foot radius
If placed directly on a sentry.
sentry becomes hostile towards its buidler and will attack enemy dispencers, teleporters and other enemy sentries.
+30% sapper damage if the building owner pulls out the wrangler

CONS:
If the sentries owner pulls out the wrangler the multiple building AoE sapping effect is neutralized.
If there is a sapper direclty on the sentry the owner can pull out the wrangler to have it funtion manually until the sapper is removed or the sentry is destroyed.
-90% sapper AoE damage
Sapper can be removed by any classes melee weapon.
Sapper is removed in 1 hit.
sapper has a 2.5 second recharge time

well i think since its an old tv i think the stats should be,
dail will point to sentry,when close ,tuant and it will disable the sentry fir 20 seconds and any nearby buildings,after transmitting the spy will become undisgiuesed and move Way slower,when you put it on the sentry it makes it go haywire and start spinning and shooting at everything(i would like to see the spiining part XD i think it would be funny)

How about can control an enemy sentry similar to the wrangler, for a brief time.

no, the sapper doesnt sap buildings, you sap engineers
