VIVE works except I cannot spawn objects or click within menus?
When I open the spawn menu (or the vr settings menu) I am unable to click anything using the vive wands. The trigger can select multiple props to spawn, but can't proceed to actually spawn them or click the tiles fully.

I'm using the HTC VIVE and everything else works flawlessly. Is there a workaround or some button combination I need to press in order to click and interact with the menus in-game when using vr?

Hmm.. I have the orig vive, and the last time I've checked(somewhere around the date of the mod's last update) this version of mod, stuff was working alright. Can't remember correctly, but I think it is the trigger that spawns items.

Is your GMod in x86-x64 Beta release? Try it again, with the x86-x64 release.

I forgot to update this, I figured it out for anyone reading in the future:

When you launch vrmod in gmod MAKE SURE there's no window pop-ups or anything left on your computer screen afterwards. When I started the mod initially a microphone prompt came up which I didn't see, but after closing this prompt I was able to select and spawn things from the menu!
