nah.. I think when you didn't press ESC, it doesn't show a still image. It just doesn't allow you to move, but the picture should be moving alright, and you should be able to look around.

late reply, I had this same problem too, just make sure that on your pc that you are on the gmod tab. For some reason on my quest it would show a frozen image on gmod as well until i realized that on the pc itself, the gmod tab wasnt open. Hope this helps
