Taking in consideration stuff like righthanded viewmodels and righthanded animations, lack of left handed mode is more like "haven't done because it is too hard", and not "haven't done because didn't consider it".
IMO you should not expect left handed mode until the REAL polishing phase begins(and it may be somewhere around half a year, or up to 2-3 years later. Depends on the guy's free time and personal motivation).
Currently I don't think a left handed mode would be practical for the stock (engine) weapons. There are technical reasons that would make it a big pain in the ass.
it takes time though and i dont think the dominant thing really matters because im left handed and i just got used to it
