Great fun few questions for noob
How woul I get a sniper rifle or change loadout? Been hiring snipers and getting guns off them as they die haha. Also How many squad mates you guys normally take if playing solo? Arma 3 seems to sucks balls for fps in any mp mode.

You need buy armory to your base and then speak to officer

I usually take: A sniper (my star), a rifleman, an AT rifleman, a medic, and an autorifleman. The sniper sits back and shoots, I spot targets for him, and the others are there to defend and help mop up any survivors.

Is there a detailed list of what each unlock does? Some are self-explainatory, but a few of them aren't.
