How the hell do you command units?
Bought a fireteam from the officer and pressed left ctrl + space to bring up all the units I had under my command. Thing is, I can't seem to issue orders to them at all, and they aren't showing under my squad/team.

Well, the best thing I figured out is you can add them to your squad to command them that way, but as far as commanding them outside of that... no idea yet. I'll update this if I do ever figure it out, we'll probably play around with the mission again tomorrow night.

You can give those squads a waypoint with your mousewheel. By right-clicking the WP you can do several changes to their behavior.

I was about to explain, but above did it well. Control space to squad command, f1 select their squad, then issue commands just like a soldier.

I think I may have had a similar issue. hold control when navigating normally to issue commands
