Bug Reports
Lemme know what's broke and I'll fix it. Or break it even more. Breaking things is so much more satisfying!

Hi there...so there seems to be an issue with Ancient Samurai Legplates - they turn halfway invisible and with messed up textures - the character wearing them has the full set so no other mods involved (I guess) - here's a screenshot for reference https://imgur.com/a/9s6bMb7

Damnit! I was almost expecting that but didn't have the time to check everything. Well, it's an easy fix, now that I'm back from the dead. Slept too long after being awake for like.. 36 hours. I feel so old!

Oooh! I know why it does that! Weird. And suddenly it becomes a not so easy fix. Somehow the Ancient Samurai Armour made its way into the overlap items. Interesting.

@Vidalia - issue should be resolved. Removed the Ancient Samurai Armour as an overlap item for all pants. The legplates now only use their overlap meshes for dustcoats, longcoats and the likes. Might still be looking a bit weird since their textures probably lack appropriate diffuse mapping but still better than just clipping through them. Thx a lot for pointing out my mistake! I'm rather new to all this ^^

Hey thanks - will check it out in game - one question I use OMO's Armour of the World instead of Patchwork Armour - I am assuming they have the same meshes (same author & items) - shouldn't be an issue right?
nanO.bytez  [udvikler] 17. feb. 2019 kl. 11:27
Not an issue at all. I haven't touched the Patchwork Armour much so far and didn't touch Armour of the World at all yet and even if they should both get fully integrated in the future, while they use the same meshes, they're used on entirely different items afaik, which means a change to the items of one mod doesn't affect the other at all

Yeah the fix is working - I am currently using a mix of Dread Gear + Vanilla on my chars - I haven't seen any issues so far - will report as I get around to more modded armour - I don't use GenMod and while the launcher complains - I don't see any issues so far in my game. Thanks for making this and looking forward to the stuff you have outlined on the roadmap

Dread already did a pretty good job of referencing his gear in vanilla assets. The only thing I can think of off the top of my head is that I had to add some references to the ancient legplates for his coats, as far as vanilla items are concerned.
As for the launcher, it likely complains about "undefined references" that lead to items it can't find, aka mods you don't use. Would surprise me to no end if that had any affect whatsoever. Only thing I can think of would be chunk load times in busy places where a lot of people happen to wear samurai pants but unless you play on a literal potato any half way modern CPU will barely register those undefined references as a hicup
