Updating RP_UnionCity
Now that the workshop allows larger addons, I'll be doing an update to this map in the near future. Feel free to post your (reasonable) ideas and suggestions, but keep in mind that I probably won't be adding any new buildings.

Here are some planned changes:
Pack all textures into the map so there won't be any separate requirements to play the map
Make doors closable on your own accord, meaning no more automatically closing doors
Re-do street lighting, possibly some interiors too
More FPS optimisation
Improve Day version's lighting/fog, and illuminate all store/neon signs

No ETA, hopefully sometime within the next 1-2 weeks or months.

Npc friendly doors for buildings. The main doors for the buildings arent openable by npcs.

Does adding new buildings include adding no interiors?

Possibly shortening/lowering the quality of the subway, or even its entire removal so you can have more buildings on the surface. Thats just me though.

Maybe court house? Doesn't have to be huge just a small building with one court room would be nice.

I'd say add more buildings, and/or more enterable and larger buildings, it sure does make for great fun! Another thing is maybe making a part of the map where it's more of the outskirts of the City of sorts, bordering a suburb type thing, not that necessary but just food for thought my dudeski :).

make a whole new map and have it as a new jurisdiction maybe a variation of Manhattan island!

Maybe a small residential district or another district of sorts? Also, I agree with the people suggesting the city hall & courthouse and more interiors. The serious lack of interiors and buildings makes it difficult to actually role play with 70 people on a server. The lack of a city hall makes it hard to role play as a Mayor or Politician. The lack of a courthouse makes it difficult to court RP. There's few issues that I founds with the map, but it would be nice to have a version that has both night and day cycle.

My suggestions:

A tribunal.
A city Hall.
Roof access.
Expand the fire station and the police station.
(Cloakroom, break room, meeting room ...).
A theater or cinema.
Add a day / night cycle and remove this rain.

I will edit when I have new ideas.

EDIT:

A Casino.
A ground fire stand at the police station.
A small Chinatown neighborhood.
A building car dealer.

I agree with everything here except the removal of rain in one aspect
yes add a day and night aspect but have the rain happen occasionally but only at night!
you gotta admit the rain adds a layer of uncertainty like gotham city in some reguard rundown and rainy!
I do still hope there are other districts and by that I mean maps maybe like union city north or south or east or west maybe north is based on Times square or maybe upstate new york the list could go on I'd love to see what this guy could be capable to if we give him the time he needs!
