What game do you have: Shadowrun Returns Death Man Switch or Dragonfall (Standalone)?
This UGC should only work with DMS not DF atm afaik

I have death man switch. It shows up on the content but when I do launch campaign, it asks me for the difficulty level. I set hard, then it takes me back to the main screen... I click on new game, select jacked up and it does the same takes me back to the main menu

then try in the Menu the content
there you should be able to select jacked-up and then you can press play then the UGC starts without asking the difficulty (it takes the difficulty of your settings)

I did a new download of jacked-up and it did start ok (in content w/o or start new game w asking for difficulty)

do you see a line that says something like downloading UGC? Then the download is not completed yet

same thing...it doesn't matter if I try it on content or on new game. It takes me back to the main menu.

do you have the Dragonfall DLC (not the standalone)? That DLC caused the author to change some code, so maybe it's needed (I can't be sure)

This should help clear up some folders (if you didn't do it already):
did you just delete the files manually or did you discontinue the ♥♥♥ ingame and/or the steam-workshop then close SRR,
check the steam state of the UGC, be sure you are not subscribed and then restart SRR to clean up
then rejoin the UGC ingame or on steam and start SRR to install it ?

other UGC plays fine?
the main story starts also?
if not then check SRR with steam

Sorry I have no other ideas.

So if all this doesn't help, maybe the author reads this and can clear up something

Other UGCs are playing fine. The Main story is fine :) ... I don't have Dragonfall DLC. I will delete the files manually... :) thx man ... I know this should be working so I will try that.

Did the following from steam: unsubscribed, removed the content from the game option. Looked for the file.. deleted manually. closed steam, re opened it... subscribed again... the file was re downloaded. Opened SRR tried to start it from the content, no go. Tried to start it by new game no go... it takes me back to the main menu... weird :(

yup totally.. I did a debug and found the following:


I am trying to find which file is doing the refference to the 51c because I found that it is under the 51fa... folder. Tried to find a folder starting with 51c... but there is nothing. So there must be a file that does the refference or that calls that 51cblahblah file.

My OS is Arch linux.

I checked all my content packs and there is also no 51c... and it works, so I don't think thats the reason (I'm on Win 7 64), I have other missing content packs but all ugc work atm

I have the same issue. It appears to subscribe me, but it does't seem to actually download the content. I can't get past the difficulty selection (takes me back to the main menu). When I look under content, it shows as "subscribed" when other (working) ones show as "installed".

Could it be a windows 8 thing?

Oh, I just have the core game (not the Dragonfall DLC).

I don't think it is an issue with Windows.... I am running it under Linux. Same thing happens here... I have Shadowrun Returns ... dead man switch. So yeah.. it seems I am not the only one experiencing it...

Hey guys... not sure how i missed this thred.. and sorry for the delay.

I have recently (today) updated Jacked up and fixxed amny bugs that could have caused loading problems. If you download the mod again from steam and it does not work it is likly due to dragonfall.

I believe Jacked up may require Dragonfall now. I am not certain why as the editor expansion gave use the ultility of Dragonfall and props from it without the mod it self.

I assume when I installed Dragonfall it took those files and associated it with my UGC.

I can, if you would Like put a download link for Jacked Up on my dropbox so you can get it with steam if that is the issue.
