Tribal swords OP - Yeah, wrong numbers, fixed next patch.
Med kits going on belt slot preventing healing - During testing I removed this, then re-added it, I will re-remove this in the next patch.
Having Armor over 100% may be fatal - Limitation of the engine to sometimes roll over damage instead of just being 0
The Falx using wrong mesh. Fixed in the next patch.
Having Crusader Armor mod installed and active causes weirdness with armors.

Character won't attack if they are using the horned dagger. Might have something to do with the dagger not being under any weapon class but couldn't tell you.

Ok, I can confirm you can attack with the dagger, its classed as an unarmed weapon, so if you have very bad unarmed stats, you are much slower. Tested with my MA guy and my swordsman.

Yeah, its meant to be a peasant weapon. While other soldiers focus on actual weapons, the dagger is a little different. Glad I could help.
Regarding the damage overflow with shields and practice weapons: it occurred well after a load or import, however I have not seen it happen since.

I have been looking into the issue for the shield, I am not sure the direct cause of the over flow, my main suspect is when the armor value is triggered to have over 100% reduction, I feel this is a little odd if it is the case, but I cant rule it out. Kenshi's engine has a few weird methods of dealing with damage. I find it hard to replicate even with specialist heavy gear. I may add some minor damage to the practice weapons to maybe have a better chance of the strange even not triggering. I will keep working on it til a fix can be found, but until than, its a "Use at your own risk" mentality.

The Metal Tower Shield is a backpack and using it pushes the character over 100% protection which equals several thousand points of damage to whatever part is being hit, resulting in instant death if vitals are hit and if limbs are hit you still die in 1 second due to several thousand points of damage to Blood Loss.

I do not know if this is because of Harpoon damage (because every time this has happened it's from crossbows or turrets hitting the character, also after a while (either a save load or area load, the backpack shield's harpoon resistance disappears, probably going into several thousand minus points which causes the massive damage intakes.

one of the targe or shield had an asswhopping harpoon resistance of 2000+ resistance.

took me a bit to realize my peeps expecially my hivers (i give it to em) got shot by harpoons and it did bare nothing. to a "hiver"

Well, harpoon resistance is auto calculated, so thats not good.

the shield, any shield, it really becomes weird.
i got my peeps that have shield and most of them for some reason could get 1.000.000 damage out of nowhere, hell, its starving bandits that did it.

also, shield is so inconsistent it my characters limb hp becomes 1 and never generate, its stuck there.

how about instead of giving so much protection shield gives acid/burning resistance, +combat defence and harpoons?
like tower shield give +15 combat defense or 1.3x combat defence increment and the like, instead of % protection?

Because shield give protection and the protection is auto generated.
