I’m not even sure how to fix that completely, I’ve tried a workaround by just restarting the game and loading back in…but now my main game can’t even load back in! I’m wondering if it’s because of some mod conflicts or mods (or cache) overload that the mod list isn’t showing me (I do not have Rimpy and I’m on the Steam Deck, which, surprisingly few have tried using with Rimthreaded probably out of fear of bricking their system due to ST’s specialized CPU)

What I’m saying is…how do I fix my main save from CTD and with the Facial Animation being normal? The only workaround is by loading in another normal game world and then loading back into my main save…I’m going crazy just trying to fix this…man, RimWorld’s mods are just bizarre.

This also happens to me, going into character editor and switching the lids back and forth fixes it, but I dont know what is to be done in the long term.

Something about this has to do with what happens when a save is loaded or a new colony, and it has to do with the way lids are rendered.

But I dont think I've had success with placing facial animation higher in the priority

Regarding the issue, it is likely the "Experimentals" version of this mod that is causing this, not the base version. I tested loading with only this mod and its dependencies, and the issues did not occur. However, they did appear when the "Experimentals" version was also loaded.

I'm having the same issue, and find out a solution: open mod settings and find facial animation mod settings, click on the button called "re-draw render textures", and it is fixed.
