Do raiders get a bonus to accuracy?
It happens time and time again. My shooters with 7,10, or even 15 shooting skill will miss shot after shot after shot. While a raider with a shotgun range of 5 spaces will just never be touched. Walk up to my colonists and 1 shot them. It makes no sense and it keeps happening where even if my colonists are behind cover, far away, behind a corner anything. Raiders never get hit, take almost no damage, and 1 or 2 shot my colonists who are wearing armor. What is the secret to defending myself? Guns don't do anything.

idk i think it is a bug because raiders for me a level 2 at about 20 cells firing at a colonist is in the 10s of thousands for hit chance

Having the same problem made a "soft" kill box where my guy are behind murder holes in some kind of bunker and all, 10 raiders with bows come and killed my 12 colonist armed with good bolt action rifle and also my 4 barkskin and clawer driads...

how i am supposed to fight back?

Sometimes, you just get kicked in the nuts. Although, every gun has better times shooting at different ranges. if you check the info on them, they'll have different percentages for different ranges. bolt action rifles are horrible if the target is within 3 cells, but are great past that.

They also have a pretty poor firing rate

Yeah i did it throught reloading and took a few wound and loses but damn you really need a good shootter and this mod and its quite hard to get good shootter, withotu a training mod. I was just extremely unlucky
