Great mod by the way :)
While no note is selected and it is set to target the closest it will ignore found notes automatically. In the map view you can uncheck the 'found' and it will not be shown. Else i need more information what situation you mean.
I've been playing ARK since early-access when there was no lore/plot and am just NOW getting my teeth into it. Having a tool like this is amazing for story hungry completionists :)
However I think it's a little on the 'too much information' side - IE perfect location awareness, perfect knowledge of what's at each marker, etc. If possible, having controls under Game.ini or GameUserSettings.ini which could disable certain details and retain the mystery/enjoyment of 'what will I find next?' would be fabulous.
A very minimal 'hot/cold' beeper (no map additions) to the next nearest item would be a great start, and then have further functions able to be turned on or off to user preference:
- map dots so you can tell if you need to fly across the world before searching
- note type indicators for those who want to collect specific categories but not know the specific one in the list
- note specific details for people who want to look for a specific note
- and finally precise positioning for those who just want to zero in with no hunting required
It's a lot to ask, I know - but this is a mod I feel adds a ton of motivation to explore and enjoy the background of ARK while still letting you put all the pieces together yourself as you find things out of order and have those 'Wait, what? OOOOOOOOOH!' moments.
