~5 days ago I said we were around halfway complete with set 14, and unfortunately we have not made much progress since then due to the deliberations of how we should approach standardizing our edits. However, we now have 3 more editors than we did before, so progress should resume and exceed previous speeds from here on out.
Once again, our goal is to keep the game updated with all the sets as they come out, with some cool surprises planned for further down the line. Once we are caught up to the current set we will begin to revise older cards.
Thank you for your patience.
Now that the doom and gloom is out of the way, time for some cool news!
They way we do things, cards are broken up into two categories: Normal ones, and Hard ones. Normal ones are cards that have text boxes around the skill description, whereas hard ones do not have these boxes, and therefore are harder to edit due to the increased amount of re-drawing necessary after artifact removal. The majority of the editors who can work on hard cards have agreed to prioritize them and leave the normal ones to editors with less free time on their hands. In addition, some of them will begin to work on a secret project that we hope the players will enjoy. We cannot speak more on this as of yet, but we hope to be able to in the future!
The edits for each new card in set 14 are flagged as complete as of the time of writing, so all we have to do now is go over the edits and see if there are any typos or other editing mishaps. Once that is completed, (it probably shouldn't be long, but don't hype yourself up for a super timely release just in case) we'll throw the cards into TTS, update the workshop image, make a quick texture for the set 14 card boxes, and then we'll be done!
Thank you very much for waiting. We hope these newer, higher quality card edits will be worth the wait!
