Which storage items hold what?
Pallets can only hold "manufactured" and "raw resources", what about the other ones like crates or hampers?

Here is what I think of:

  • Skipper for everything you can mine (steel, gold, uranium etc.), and big items.
  • Palett manufactured and raw resources
  • Cloth hampers are obviously for cloth, dyed cloth (the material NOT clothes)
  • Haylofter are for hay and any food for animals
  • Meat hooks hold DEAD animals not meat. In contrary for some believers thats true in reallife
  • Food baskets are for plant matter and raw food.
  • Meal Tray racks hold meals
  • Double,Tall Double shelves are holding miscellaneous things
  • Weapon cabinets are for Weapons.
  • Safe is for valuable items like jewels, stuff from Royal DLC or high tier item made of expensive materials
