1. I join a lobby and press accept.
2. Game goes to loading screen with christmas theme NP
3. Stays on that screen and never connects so I time out and everyone returns to lobby except me
4. Game starts again while I am still stuck on #3. The accept button does not show up for me and I get banned because I couldn't accept

Ever since the latest big update with talent tree, this has been happening and I am unable to play. Anyone know of a solution for this?

I have tried validating dota 2 files and even uninstalling and reinstalling chess with no success
